At Alpha Delta Pi, we are a sisterhood of friends, a family of individuals, and a home away from home. We embrace every woman's uniqueness, we encourage and support each other's goals and dreams, and we value character above all else. Founded in 1851 at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia, Alpha Delta Pi was the first secret society for women.
Since then, our sisterhood has grown into a community of strong, confident women across the country who live by our values of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and leadership. At the Delta Rho Chapter of Gettysburg College, we take pride in carrying forward this legacy while creating a supportive environment where members can thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
Whether through philanthropy, campus involvement, or lifelong friendships, Alpha Delta Pi provides opportunities to learn, lead, and grow. Our chapter is not just a place to belong but also a foundation for becoming the best version of ourselves and leaving a positive impact on our college and community.
